Light poems (light verse) reflect Robert's pleasure in finding inspiration in the possibilities offered by language and exploring them through unbridled associate into verses with a funny, contemplative or surprising twist.
Robert Beernink:
Robert (1958) studied English language and literature for several years at the University of Nijmegen. After a social career, he has completely devoted himself to writing stories, #BinnenDoorDenkers and light poems. His credo 'Every story is true, every truth but belief', the tension between delusion and reality, is often an underlying theme in his work.
