It is a sunny October day. Punkie the Squirrel is walking in the woods with his girlfriend Kim. They are looking for mushrooms for a school assignment. They find a wheelbarrow near the trunk of a tall pine tree. The wheel has broken off and there are blueberries next to it. Who could that little cart belong to?

Punkie takes it home to have his dad fix it. His parents are very mysterious about the wheelbarrow and the place where Punkie found it. What do they know that Punkie doesn't? Maybe there is a big secret in the forest.
