When Gio van Wijk gets angry, glassware breaks. A witch teaches him the first steps to controlling his strange powers. His mother Wilma drops the name of his suspected Sinti father, Giuvanni de Basulty. Gio leaves for Romania with a Wiccan group to find his father and discover his strange gifts. His mother forces Eloise to seduce Gio so she can keep an eye on her son. In Germany, Gio uses his budding powers to destroy a devilish medallion. The spirit within is released. The ghost wants to die and goes after Gio to beg him for a real death. Gio breaks with Eloise after he finds out about Wilma and Eloise's role through a witch. Finally, he stands at his father's grave. The ghost has made itself known to Gio. With the help of a druid and Celtic gods, Gio manages to kill the ghost. He returns to Romania with his uncle. There he earns enough money as a magician to buy a house in Den Bosch and sculpt it. At a performance he meets Eloise again. Will she give him a chance to make amends?
