Your father dies. Mourning is pushed aside, countless things have to be arranged. Before you get over this, your sister-in-law dies at a young age, leaving behind a husband and two young children. The process that you had not yet completed starts again. more intense. Just when you think 'I have to move on with my life', the mother of your children leaves us.
Jeroen writes off the pains, the hope, the sadness in poems. It offers him – and hopefully you too – comfort.
Jeroen den Harder:
Jeroen (1975), raised in the Westland. He has been writing poems since 2016. After a turbulent period of death (father), illness and hospitalizations of his mother and himself, a period of depression started. His mother urged him to start writing again, that was the reason to start writing poems, in which he could express his thoughts of sadness, fear, but also joy.
His poems are characterized by their mostly personal character, which offer an honest and emotional insight into his life. They are full of warmth, longing and lack and comfort.
