Frank and Susan are in their early thirties. Their relationship is a head-to-heart collision. During a road trip through northern Italy, they stop at a dilapidated villa. Frank wants to photograph there. They are not the only ones who pay a visit to the haunted villa. An encounter that exposes their collision even more, brings death closer. Years later, Susan leaves for Italy, alone.
How well does Frank really know his wife? He travels after her and is once again forced to let go of his logic and irony. How strong can love be? Is death as absolute as we think?
