About his poetry:
“His poems are concepts of language, which refer to other realities, as a maze of levels on which reality plays out and reflects the world, especially time.” (Guy vanHoof)
“Poetry of an unusual musicality, supple, unruly and pregnant with secrets.” (Menno Wigman)
“Brocatus is the poet who writes with the brush, who chisels with words, who carefully observes the work of others and then redraws it.”

“The poems revolve around elements such as alienation, the search for communication, passion and passion. He writes strongly visually. His verses are often poly-interpretable.” (Bert Bevers)
