When G., the third brother, died unexpectedly in a French village, more than grief was left behind. A promise grew. Five years later, two brothers cycled through France, from Wuustwezel to Banhars, searching for traces of a life, for places that speak, remain silent, disappear.
In diary entries, memories, and poetic observations, Journey to the End of the Third Brother weaves a personal journey of mourning with an homage to landscapes, family histories, and a shared past.
A story of brotherly love, transience, humor, and remembrance—carried by the wind, poppies, and a badge with a face that travels with them.
